Yvette Cauchois (French pronunciation: [ivɛt koʃwa] ; 19 December 1908 – 19 November 1999) was a French physicist and researcher at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS). She is known for her contributions to X-ray spectroscopy and X-ray optics, and for pioneering European synchrotron research.
