Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk) was a crowdsourcing website with which businesses could hire remotely located "crowdworkers" to perform discrete on-demand tasks that computers are currently unable to do as economically. It was operated under Amazon Web Services, and was owned by Amazon.
