Luxembourg has been represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 40 times since its debut at the first contest in 1956. The current Luxembourgish participating broadcaster in the contest is RTL Lëtzebuerg (RTL). The country participated in all but one event between 1956 and 1993, only missing the 1959 contest.
