Bruschetta ( broo-SKET-ə, -SHET-ə, Italian: [bɾuˈsketta] ) is an Italian appetizer (antipasto) consisting of grilled bread topped with garlic, olive oil, and salt. Most commonly it is served with toppings of tomatoes, vegetables, beans, cured meat or cheese.
