What Wikipedia says
Ophidiophobia () or ophiophobia () is fear of snakes. It is sometimes called by the more general term herpetophobia, fear of reptiles. The word comes from the Ancient Greek: ὄφις, romanized: óphis, lit. 'snake', and φοβία, phobía, 'fear'.
