Arendal (Urban East Norwegian pronunciation: [ˈɑ̂ːɳɖɑːɫ] ) is a municipality in Agder county in southeastern Norway. Arendal Municipality belongs to the region of Sørlandet. The administrative centre of the municipality is the city of Arendal (which is also the seat of Agder county).
