In Greek mythology, Amphictyon (Ancient Greek: Ἀμφικτύων, romanized: Amphiktyon; pronounced /æmˈfɪkti.ɒn/, am-FIK-tee-uhn or am-FIK-tee-on) was a king of Thermopylae and later Athens. In one account, he was the ruler of Locris.
