What Wikipedia says
The Berdan (also Baradān or Baradā), the ancient Cydnus (Ancient Greek: Κύδνος, romanized: Kúdnos), is a river in Mersin Province, south Turkey. The historical city of Tarsus is on the river and it is therefore sometimes called the Tarsus River.
