In Greek mythology, Astyanax (; Ancient Greek: Ἀστυάναξ Astyánax, "king of the city" coming from the ancient greek words "ἄστυ" meaning city and "ἄναξ" meaning wanax or king) was the son of Hector, the crown prince of Troy, and of his wife, Princess Andromache of Cilician Thebe.
