Bosaso (Somali: Boosaaso; Arabic: بوصاصو), historically known as Bender Qassim or Badraan, is a city in the northeastern Bari province of Somalia in Puntland. It is the administrative capital of the Bosaso District and the principal commercial center of the Puntland regional state.
