Chhaang or Chhyang (Nepali: छ्याङ; Tibetan: ཆང་) is a traditional Himalayan alcoholic beverage natively consumed by Tibetan and Nepalese. It is also known as jaarh in Nepal. It is typically made from fermented grains such as rice, barley, or millet.
