Sniper Elite (initially known as Sniper Elite: Berlin 1945) is a 2005 tactical shooter and stealth video game created by Rebellion Developments. Set during the final days of World War II in Berlin, the protagonist of Sniper Elite is Karl Fairburne, an American OSS operative disguised as a German sniper.
