What Wikipedia says
Amblypygi is an order of arachnids also known as whipspiders or tailless whipscorpions. The name "amblypygid" means "blunt tail", a reference to a lack of the flagellum that is otherwise seen in whipscorpions. Amblypygids possess no silk glands or venom.
