The Ghadir Khumm (Arabic: غَدِير خُمّ) was an event that took place in 16 March 632, shortly before the death of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. The event occurred at a pond known as Ghadir Khumm, located near Juhfa between Mecca and Medina.
