Kyakhta (Russian: Кя́хта, [ˈkʲaxtə]; Buryat: Хяагта, romanized: Khiaagta, [ˈçæːχtə]; Mongolian: Хиагт, romanized: Hiagt, [ˈçæχtʰ]) is a town and the administrative center of Kyakhtinsky District in the Republic of Buryatia, Russia, located on the Kyakhta River near the Mongolia–Russia border.
