Alexei Nikolaevich (Russian: Алексей Николаевич, romanized: Aleksey Nikolaevich, or Алексѣй Николаевич in old Russian orthography; 12 August [O.S. 30 July] 1904 – 17 July 1918) was the last Russian tsesarevich (heir apparent). He was the youngest child and only son of Tsar Nicholas II and Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna.
