In Greek mythology, Sinope (; Ancient Greek: Σινώπη, romanized: Sinōpē) was a daughter of Asopus (a river god) and the eponym of the city Sinope on the Black Sea's south coast. Sinope is connected romantically to two gods, Apollo and Zeus.
