Nasi lemak (Jawi: ناسي لمق; Malay pronunciation: [ˌnasi ləˈmaʔ]; lit. 'fatty rice') is a dish originating in Malay cuisine that consists of rice cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf. It is commonly found in Malaysia, where it is considered the national dish.
