Sarcosuchus (), from Ancient Greek σάρξ (sárx), meaning "flesh", and Σοῦχος (Soûkhos), meaning "Sobek", is a genus of crocodyliform that lived during the Early Cretaceous (Hauterivian to Albian ages, 133 to 101 million years ago) in North Africa and Brazil.
