Al-Masih ad-Dajjal (Arabic: الْمَسِيحُ الدَّجَّالُ, romanized: Al-Masīḥ ad-Dajjāl, lit. 'the Deceitful Messiah'), commonly referred to simply as the Dajjal, is an antagonistic figure in Islamic eschatology, corresponding broadly to the Antichrist in Christian tradition.
