Tønsberg (pronounced [ˈtœ̂nsbær(ɡ)] ) is a municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Jarlsberg. The administrative centre of the municipality is the city of Tønsberg which was established in the 9th century.
